About

           Mike Moger has been listing and selling real estate since 1984, and along the Front Range region of Colorado since 1991.  He has represented sellers and buyers of real estate in all price ranges, in communities from Denver to Loveland and into the mountains.

           As a volunteer in the industry, Mike served as the Vice President of the NE District of the Colorado Association of REALTORS after serving for a number of years on the Board of Directors of CAR.  He has served as a Director of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder, in addition to being President of the Boulder Area REALTOR Association, Vice President for information services and Vice President for Member Services for BARA, as well as a Director, Chairman of the Writers’ Circle and Website Committees, and as a member of the Finance Committee.

Mike has also listed and sold commercial, investment and development real estate.  He has sold and leased multiple unit residential property, as well as restaurants and accommodations properties, retail outlets, office buildings and medical facilities, research and development properties, warehouses, and land for development.  In development, he has successfully represented builders and developers in the marketing of finished residential communities and individual home sales, and taken commercial buyers and developers through the development process in the establishment of restaurants and various other commercial subdivisions. 

           Mike has been named the top-producing agent for calendar year production five times in the offices in which he has worked.

The Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute awarded Mike the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, and Mike held that designation until 2005.  The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience.  CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing 1000 markets throughout North America. 

           In addition to being licensed to list, sell, and lease real estate in Colorado, Mike held a Certified Financial Planner designation, allowing him to advise clients on the taxation of real estate, investment returns, estate planning and trust work in real estate matters, and financing.  Although he no longer holds that active designation, he continues to review trust and tax law, so that his clients have access to a more inclusive overall view of their real estate investments and opportunities.

           Concerned about the level of knowledge in the real estate field, Mike has held seminars and workshops for both professionals in the industry and the public on such topics as professional planning and time management, real estate investment portfolios, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, trust work in real estate matters, financing, investment real estate, taxation for the real estate professional and estate planning with real estate.  He currently teaches a series of courses to REALTOR members on Financing, Taxes for the Real Estate Professional, Investment and Management of Real Estate, Contracts, and Business Planning.

           Mike currently lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife.
