Northern Water Chimney Hollow Tour

BOLO Members have an amazing opportunity on October 2, 2023 to tour the Chimney Hollow Reservoir construction project. Space is limitied to 25 people. 

Arrive by 8:45am at the Northern Water offices, 220 Water Ave. Berthoud. Guest parking is available on the east and north side of the main administration building. Check in at the main lobby. Load Northern Water vehicles - NO PRIVATE VEHICES PERMITTED.

Depart at 9:00am in Northern Water Vehicles for the Chimney Hollow Reservoir overlook. The tour gives a full view of the valley from property on the eastern ridge just above the main dam construction. This true overlook tour allows Project Engineers to provide insight on several components of the reservoir construction, including the main dam, coffer dam, quarry, concrete plant and more. Northern Water will provide presentations and overview of several main components of the project.
We suggest that all tour attendees wear long pants and closed toe shoes for safety while at the Overlook.
