BoulderMod - Factory Build Day

Join your fellow BOLO Members on September 2nd to help build permanently affordable modular homes!  Space is limited so register now!  

What You Will Do

Assembly Stations: Work across nine different manufacturing areas inside the climate-controlled factory.

Task Variety: Help with framing, carpentry, electrical work, cabinetry, and final finishes.

Team Environment: Collaborate side-by-side with local high school students from the Boulder Valley School District and expert tradespeople

A few VERY IMPORTANT Details:

  • The shift starts at 9:00am; please have everyone plan to be there by 8:45am.
  • Please report directly to the factory; there is no need to check in at the district building.
  • The address for the factory is 6500 Arapahoe Rd, Building D. 
  • There is a training room in the facility that will serve as a break room; it has lockers, tables and chairs, and a fridge. There is a bathroom on-site. Any packed lunches can be stored in the break room.
  • The factory will be air conditioned if it's still warm outside!
  • All required PPE will be provided and we can provide gloves, masks, and hearing protection for those interested.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle as those can be taken onto the production floor.
  • You must wear long pants and close-toed shoes.
  • No previous construction experience is necessary; we will provide tools and training

Build shift starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp, please arrive by 8:45!
