Description

Joe Neguse is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 2nd congressional district. His district encompasses north-central Colorado, including Boulder, Fort Collins, and Longmont, alongside numerous mountain and rural communities. 

His policy priorities center heavily around the protection of public lands, mitigating wildfires, reducing healthcare costs, and lowering the cost of living for families in Colorado. He is frequently cited by the Center for Effective Lawmaking as one of the most effective and bipartisan lawmakers in Congress.

Neguese assumed office on January 3, 2019, and is currently seeking re-election in the November 3, 2026 general election.
